People reviews and 1-on-1s
Keeping the right people in the right seats: RunOlga's recurring people conversations and reviews.
Roadmap
People reviews and 1-on-1s are the recurring rhythm of structured conversations that keep each seat healthy and aligned to the organization's Core Values and accountabilities.
What it is
People reviews and 1-on-1s (EOS: Quarterly Conversations plus the People Analyzer) are a standing cadence of conversations between a leader and the people they manage. The cadence has three layers:
- 30/60/90-day check-ins for someone new in a seat, confirming the seat is the right fit while expectations are still being set.
- Quarterly reviews that revisit fit, alignment, and accountabilities on the same roughly 90-day rhythm as Priorities.
- Annual reviews that take the longer view across the year.
Each conversation asks the same two questions about the person in the seat. First, do they live the Core Values. Second — the People Analyzer's GWC check — does the person Get it, Want it, and have the Capacity for the seat:
| Question | What it asks |
|---|---|
| Get it | Do they genuinely understand the role, its rhythm, and what it takes to do it well? |
| Want it | Do they want this seat — not just a job, but this set of accountabilities? |
| Capacity | Do they have the time, knowledge, and ability the seat requires? |
The intent
The goal is the right people in the right seats. Regular, structured conversations keep that true over time: they surface a fit problem early, reinforce what is working, and tie each person's day-to-day back to the Accountability Chart and the Core Values in the Vision.
These reviews are deliberately recurring, not occasional. A seat that is healthy this quarter can drift; a new hire who looked like a strong fit at 30 days may look different at 90. The rhythm is what catches the drift while it is still small.
Phase 1 reality
This is not built in Phase 1. RunOlga does not yet host people reviews, and Olga does not run, schedule, or summarize them.
On the roadmap, the Knowledge Base of people context would give Olga the grounding to help a leader prepare for a review — gathering the relevant history and accountabilities so the leader walks in informed. Even then, the shape of the work stays the same as everywhere else in RunOlga: Olga prepares and surfaces; the leader holds the conversation and reaches the conclusions.
Phase 1 Olga does not assess people and does not recommend decisions about them. Judging fit, rating performance, or advising whether someone belongs in a seat all sit outside Phase 1. For the full boundary between what is live now and what is on the roadmap, see Scope and roadmap.
