Directory

The Directory is where you find people. Where the Accountability Chart answers "which seat owns this?", the Directory answers "who is this person, and how do I reach them?"

What it holds

• User profiles — name, photo, email, phone, assigned seat, current role
• Reporting relationships — shown visually, so the structure is readable at a glance

How you use it

• Browse team members
• Filter by seat, department, or location
• View someone's profile
• Contact them directly

Directory and the Seat Map

The two surfaces share the same underlying structure — seats, occupants, and reporting lines. The Seat Map in People reads it structure-first; the Directory reads it person-first. Assigning a user to a seat in People is what gives their Directory profile its seat and place in the reporting view.
